Hi, I'm Claudia Tanner, the founder of ​Media Linkup and a former newspaper and magazine editor. With 18 years' experience in the media industry — including as real life editor at The i Paper, deputy editor of Candis magazine, health reporter at MailOnline and a volunteer PR for animal rescues — I understand the needs of both journalists and those seeking media coverage.

After interviewing countless business people, I identified a demand for a dedicated platform that empowers entrepreneurs and experts to take control of their own public relations at a really affordable price.

​​I understand the intense pressures journalists face: fast deadlines, finding credible sources and sourcing personal stories, especially on breaking news topics. There are some useful media outreach services, but many fall short in connecting journalists with those unique, relatable narratives that truly resonate with audiences.

Recognising a gap in the market for a platform with a powerful notification system, I created Media Linkup: an affordable, community-focused app with tailored alerts and a vetted member directory. It excels at connecting journalists with media-ready experts and entrepreneurs, making powerful storytelling easier for all.​
